Monitor connection to network hosts
Ping Monitor is an automated tool for tracking contacts with hosts, located within the local network plus Internet. It detects contacts statuses by sending normal pings and analyzing reactions. If pings to sponsor are failed a definite quantity of times in the row, application detects plus reports a connection outage.
Ping Monitor can function in 24/7 mode in order to track the connections says and calculate connections data, which is reported upon the main screen. Shown parameters for each host consist of monitoring time, uptime portion, total number of recognized outages, percent of exceeded pings and ping data. In addition to checking features, Ping Monitor provides an extended notifications plus reporting functionality. You may configure the application in order to report connection lost, recover events and ping data as messages in the System Tray area or even to send correspondent notices by e-mail.
If needed, you can extend features of the application plus setup custom event handlers for execution on contacts lost and restore occasions. Any command or executable file with optional command-line parameters can be described as the event handler.
