With DisCatalog you can catalog all your disks regardless of which kind of storage medium: hard disks, CDs, DVDs, MP3, digital cards like cards in digital cameras etc . DisCatalog aids you to keep track of almost all your disks and to find really quickly documents, music or videos. Directory a preview of each file: contents of Word-, Excel-files (e. g. doc, xls), thumbnails of photos and photos (e. gary the gadget guy. jpg), ID3-Tags of MP3-files. These previews are incorporated by the search functionality. DisCatalog shows you the precise disk and depository where you find a file. Get all title information of Music-CDs and Video-DVDs straight from Online-databases while cataloging. For a better summary separate the whole directory into different categories or use the File-Filter. A few categories and filters are already fixed, however you can create custom groups and filters. You can take notes to each disk, folder or each single file. Export your catalog or parts of it in different file-formats like Word, Excel, Text tab separated, PDF, Rich Text or print lists and overviews. Backup and Recover prevents you to loose cataloged data. DisCatalog will be network compatible and you can share the directory database with further computers.
