Split large files into Self-Uniting pieces
This program is a free reliable file splitter that allows you split your big files (like compressed archives, multimedia, music, movie, backup, Zip, log, large text and document files... ) into a set of smaller documents called pieces. These items are easier to copy or backup to floppies, CD, DVD, USB or any disk; to send by email or upload with file hosting services (forget size restrictions); to share with friends, colleagues or to distribute to some other users through networks and the Internet.
In inclusion to the highlights of additional standard file splitters, This program can:
- create 2 types of pieces: storage spanned and blocked (with specific size). Either your size for each item file, the number associated with pieces to create or maybe the number of lines and occurrences of a design by piece.
- create small Self-Uniting programs (. exe) so anyone with out This program can assemble parts and restore the authentic file. The appearance plus functionality of these applications could be customized.
- divide huge files (bigger compared to 4 GB) or little files (less than a hundred kb).
- restore document properties: file dates plus attributes are not dropped.
- perform fast bank checks to detect file data corruption (size, offset, CRC32) plus to assure that data files are successfully restored.
: customize piece files (size, filenames, title, author... ), leave additional space upon disks...
- split huge text and similar data files like huge server record files by number associated with lines or occurrences associated with a specified pattern.
: add custom headers in order to pieces.
- support dividing multiple files in a single time, batch (automation) plus command line options (can be daemonized).
